Next, add 3 T of water for every 1 T of flax. So, again, if you want three eggs, you would use 9 T of water. Mix the water and the flax, and allow the two to sit together for at least five minutes.

This will allow the seed meal to form a gel, which will bind and add moisture to your meatloaf.
